Might have to go for a ride to see that. Not to far from the house. Can't afford it or have a need for it but it looks cool

 

Random thought for the day: I like driving in the early mornings. Its cooler and their is less traffic. And you just can't beat the look on the waitress's face when you ask for a cheeseburger at 8:30 am. I also like getting to watch the sunrise. This morning it was something to behold, watching the sun reflect off the Mississippi River coming into Arkansas. The water was like glass, the tugboats looked like they were just floating, and for a few seconds time seemed to stand still. Back to the rat race, yall be cool on yer stool.

 

Something I’ve never adjusted to is rolling at 0130 and getting hungry for lunch at 0800 while everyone is stuck on eggs still. I want me a cheeseburger...

I’m eating two buffalo chicken sandwiches this morning.... I can’t tell if I’m crazy or not.

Pic from earlier today during my break. Now I’m sittin just outside Charlotte for a 7 am delivery.

 

Beautiful day for trucking on Monday. Made the rest area just east of Black River Falls with 45 minutes left on the clock. Jets lost, sadly. Game 7 is on Thursday.

Got unloaded this morning.


Made my pickup in Chicago by 2:50pm and didn't see a lick of rush hour. Now I'm sitting here waiting for my 6pm loading appointment, but they've got me in early before.

Delivery is in Mississauga, ON Thursday morning at 8am, should be a nice, easy 500 mile drive tomorrow to the J just down the street from where its going.

Not sure where I'm going from there, might be a coil, but I doubt it'll be all the way back to Harrow.

 

Yesterday I went by the Loves in Batesville, Ms to deliver right around the corner. Each fuel pump was doubled up, so I figured I would just fuel this morning. Well, I unloaded in five minutes and told my dumb self “you know better to pull in a Love’s at 11:55 am, but why not?” So I pulled in, and I was the only truck at the fuel island.

I couldn’t believe it, that has never happened before. I seriously thought maybe someone had phoned in a bomb threat or there was a fire, I even looked around front to make sure they were open. An empty fuel island at Love’s at noon? I wouldn’t ever take that bet.

 

It's always a good day when it's new tool day. It's too bad I won't get to play with it until back at the barn
