Sort of a rant, but it has to do with truck design.

So hopefully someone from one of the manufacturers will see this:

    Eyeglass storage near the bunk!
C'mon folks we don't sleep with them on. Whenever I go to sleep I leave them in the cubby and hope I don't accidentally knock them onto the floor in my half asleep stupor.
    (Which I've done)

Besides that and non-dimming lights in my face (thermoKing and I think it was a clock in another truck) I'd like to recommend that designers actually sleep in the next truck they're working on. Too much back here seems like an afterthought.

"We have more storage than our competitors!"

While we're on the subject of sleeper wishlists, I always thought having a second ignition back here would be cool. So you wouldn't have to get up to start the truck if it suddenly got too hot or cold. Or a second set of radio controls so you could change the station instead of just muting the rear speakers.

Had the same problem but ... all around the cab and the sleeper. The super easy , cheap , quick answer ? 2 sided tape , velcro , super glue. I have 3 separate pairs of glasses and to keep them in 1 spot. Keep them unbroken. Just a small piece of 2 sided tape plus a tiny drop of super glue on the 2 sided tape and your glasses will be safe and secure.

Geez, I have SO many ideas!

I used to love Volvo, because it was clear that whoever made them actually cared that someone would be living in them, and didn't cut corners like Freightliner does. But in my 2018 Volvo, they (Volvo) installed ALLLLL of the "safety" features. Freaking oversensitive alarms that blare every time they see a shadow, or slam on MY truck brakes every time some suicidal a-hole cuts me off! So now I hate Volvo. Because now they're playing to The Man, instead of caring about who is actually using their trucks.

Anyway. I would do SO much differently that I now just plan to save up to be O/O, so I can custom-out my whole interior. It has to be comfortable, and it has to make sense. Company trucks never will.

It's funny, I've had two separate Volvo loaner trucks and BOTH have tried to kill me.

    Exhaust leak both times. Sheesh!

Is Prostar a trucking company or a truck brand?

International Prostar. Pretty cookie cutter mega trucks, but I have to admit I like the setup. Could do with a better "workstation" with back support instead of a slide out table for sitting on the bed, but I guess you can't have everything.

Yeah, truck designers are just like engineers. They listen, but not really, and just make a product that fits a space, works and is cheap to make and put together. You guys get mad at the designers, and we get mad at the engineers.
