Buddy’s Mart on 35 by the train tracks has a pizza sign on the wall. I went through there yesterday, today and heading back thru there tomorrow morning about 5:30 head to Monticello. I can’t beleive I have never smelled the mill though. Watch that local, he has been working the only 4 way in town on 35.

Two lane truckin is where it’s at. I told dispatcher the other day I loved two lane runs, and he couldn’t believe me. I said I can drive 100 miles sometimes and not get behind anyone. Besides, there is hardly anywhere to get DOT’d out there. I will take those trips Mon-Sat and twice on a Sunday over the big road.

I've heard mythical tales like that of deserted two lanes. Running them up here puts me behind 10 under the limit retirees whilst being passed by bump de bump hooptys running 75 into oncoming traffic trying to put me in the ditch

I guess the difference down here when I am running southwest Arkansas, Northwest Alabama and all parts Mississippi is there is nothing going on down here. Nowhere to go for the people who don’t work. It’s pretty quiet with the occasional blue hair lady in a Buick headed to the hairdresser running 50 mph.

Our 2 Lanes in the East are a bit "Overworked ".....Ya think????

Coming outta Seguin work your way over to 59. In Carthage hit 79. To 20 east. Look for 220 i think exit 11. Run it around to La. 3 turns to 29 at the line puts you out above the hope scale.Peelsession, Oxbow, SAR and 17 others Thank this.

Customer called earlier and wanted me to park on site for first thing tomorrow morning. Told me right where to park, pull my bungees and leave tarps draped overnight just in case of rain.
I'll take it. Reload is going to be structural steel (ugh) but it potentially might be preloaded for me to switch out tomorrow after unloading. Just have to drive empty to our Ontario yard and pick it up.
Even though I hate that stuff, it beats heading 3 hours in the wrong direction to sit at camp Atlas. I should get most of the way to Sudbury tomorrow. This way I'll be home afternoon Saturday rather than Sunday morning.Crusader66, OLDSKOOLERnWV, Oxbow and 10 others Thank this. -
