Couldn't find anything to do in the Land of Enchantment. So I bounced over here to the Ft Worth yard. I'm about to sign on for another 3 years here at Landstar and I have to do a safety class tomorrow and eat some free lunch first.

Yeah...Chalk Creek Road. Even that ones gets a little busy when the bull wagons need to avoid the scales.Hurricane69, Ruthless, Crusader66 and 10 others Thank this.

I didn't tell you I made a wrong turn and had to back up half a mile lol.
Road turns right up a hill toward a row of production tanks and I stayed straight down the farm road, lolHurricane69, Ruthless, Crusader66 and 9 others Thank this. -

Just remember it’s 68% of 98%. Then carry the 2,divide by the square root of the linehaul. Add the fuel surcharge, subtract tolls and tarp fees, and you have a ballpark of what it pays

For now. I can go away at any time though.
My deal is a little simpler...65% for the truck, 9% for the trailer. 100% of fuel , detention and tarps. I think they had to change it when they relaxed the standards for leasing on...too many guys couldn't do the math.Hurricane69, Logan76, whoopNride and 11 others Thank this. -
Crowded is a loose term. In comparison to the northeast Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, lousiana, those two lanes are practically empty.
I will say I had a nice ride on a Pennsylvania two lane last week. 50 miles rolling in a valley — just gotta watch out for those Amish buggies.
