Yeah I don’t do the flat-billed hats either.

 

I'm bad to have lots a hat's layin round but can't ever find one when I need it.

 

Not quite how I wanted to end the day.


68 years old, why can't they make stuff last longer???

 

Made Wawa Esso to Timmies in Nipigon in 4 hours and 4 minutes. Might be a hard record to break. Hahaha. Didn't drop below 7 direct on any of the hills and no slower than 70 km/h. I'll drive the 17 nearly empty any day.


I don't have enough time to make Dryden (I knew I wouldn't, it's a 14 hour drive from Nairn Centre), so Santorelli's in Thunder Bay it is.

 

My father in law bought an old church 2 years ago. He completely re-did the place. He has over 8,000 hats on display and counting. No duplicates. I always make fun that he is spending our inheritance!
He goes there every day except sundays to work. All the locals stop buy and drink coffee with him. He just turned 80 years old.

 

Where's that at? Can I get a truck in there.

Intersection of hwy 24 and hwy 47. Truck parking on both sides.

He runs the train depot they rebuilt about 4 years ago too. He built a train set that is a copy of what Forrest looked like in the 20’s. Complete with 12 bay round house.
