I do not mind driving up there though, people constantly complain about the northeast and I just roll .As long as I am not paying the tolls I dont care.

Amend that to paying tolls no more.
You should have tried Richmond back in the day, a nickel here a dime there and a quarter in a particularly dangerous and deadly Ess curve with a barrier in the middle once...Md420 Thanks this. -
Screw it, I will deliver down town Chicago if paid enough lol . I like the challenge, delivered on Staten Island today, The Bronx last week, and Queens the week before. Its the same reason I like finding those spots at truck stops that most others just drive by. I'm at a point that if I dont challenge myself out here I will lose whatever drive I have to keep driving.
Ruthless, DieselDrivinDaddy and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Come west. Get out of those villages for a while. Let that wide open land clear your head and spirit.Md420 Thanks this.

Did that, got bored lol plus I live in east TN and get home every 2 to 2.5 days plus 34 to 48 on the weekends and make good money
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
This is the best option and the tolls are still cheaper then crossing the GW, less fuel then running 84 as well, there is no good time to cross the GW I've sat on that bridge for 3+ hours at mid night-early morning. I did NE regional based out of MA for several years
There is a truck stop in whately off of exit 24 on i91 (Hatfield is exit 21) there is Also another one off mass pike exit 6 at the 291 if you need a place to stay -
Plus the 2 in Canaan ny on the way.
Plus miss CT and all the bull #### that comes with it.abyliks Thanks this. -
Yup Canaan as well (2am train whistle wake up) and the one at 21b on 87, few other hiding spots to that I'm not posting online as well.
I hate CT with a passion. -
287 to 91, 95 is where all the 4 wheelers piranhas come to play
-
Not a possible route, 287 dumps into either 87, 684, or 95 for major highways
287-95-91
287-684-84
287-87-84
287-87-90* (preferred)
Also 87 does not cut straight across NU/CT, there's a big loop down by Danbury to red hook, pretty sure it was 12 or 18 miles longer from Springfield mass to Newburgh going 90/87 vs 91/84 but SO much better on trafficRuthless Thanks this.
