worked for Heniff for 10 months. Got along great with Dispatch. You need to watch the Safety dept. A guy named Leon runs it. He hasn’t been in a seat since 88’ but knows all there is to know about driving today. They decide when and what rules they are to enforce. I was let go because I broke one of his rules that he imposed while I was off sick. I had no idea of this policy. I was off work for 7 wks. I came back, had a dot inspection and was ticketed for a violation. Let go the next day being told they have a zero tolerance for this violation. I had no idea. Be careful
Watch out for Heniff

Why did you get a violation to begin with? If it's a light issue ok, crap happens. If it's something like cell phone usage. Well.. good.scythe08 and aussiejosh Thank this.
-
It wasn’t a cell phone, it’s not important what it was. It was a series of events that led to one thing. Don’t be a smart ###. I’m just warning of the one guy. Other than him I had no problem with the rest of the co.slim shady Thanks this.

If you dont want to give details but just generalize complaints..then no one will believe you18 wheels of fury, loose_leafs, snowlauncher and 1 other person Thank this.

well it is important to know the volation because you could of had no hood for all we know and complain about getting fired
-
I undid my seat belt because I was sitting at a light. The reason I undid it is I dropped my phone which I needed for my maps. The light turned green, I didn’t immediately put it back on and got pinched about 1000 ft down the rd. Good enough or you need more detail.
Elg1968 Thanks this. -
The point of the whole post is that they institute policy without telling anyone then write you up or fire you when you cross the line. I don’t have a problem with the ticket, just the way it was handled
Tdgraham Thanks this. -
Sounds like you deserved to get fired
-
Cited for no seatbelt and admitted to using a handheld electronic device while driving. Every carrier I know has a zero tolerance policy for both of those.
Nothing personal, but you deserved to be let go. Learn from your poor choice and move forward. -
So you lied about using a cell phone. Good to know your reliability in this complaint is non-existent
I get it. You think you are the victim here. Well, you aren't. Grow up. Realise you messed up and stop messing up. Then move on with life.Grouch, TaterFox, drvrtech77 and 3 others Thank this.
