Quick question. They are sending me to Prosser from Riverside. Looks like 395 to 6 to to 95 thru Nevada is the most direct route, but it’s only 31 minutes quicker than I-5. How do you run that?

I usually run I-5 up to 97 when I leave City of Industry. I’ve been that way you’re talking about when I went to Prosser from Vegas. Probably more human life and truck stops on I-5 but it’s however you want to do it.

Same thing I was thinking. Just going to go around the LA area to do the time of day it is. Lol

Sometimes if the traffic is bad and I’m on the East side of LA trying to go North I run 15 towards Barstow, 395 to 58 where the Pilot is then over to Bakersfield and up 99 to Lodi where I cut over to I-5.

I’ll try that. I was going to take 138 to 14 to 58, but that looks like a better route

138 is a hassle. Two lane road, stops, and up down roller coaster stuff.
Sure you know, it's actually something like 18 from 138 straight over to Victorville. It's obvious on the map. I don't think anyone wants to take 138 in and out of the middle of Cajon Pass.
I much prefer taking 58. That's what I do. Then 14 down into Van Nuys. Avoid all the mess.

I saw that. I’m taking 395 to 58. I did notice a lot of trucks going that way as I went by.

I just dropped and hooked in Hyrum, Utah. This was a nice easy run. I’m dead heading to Prosser now too.

You’ll definitely beat me up there. I’ll still have about 720 miles left once I stop today.

    Crusader66 Thanks this.

I had 6:25 left on my 11 when I left Hyrum. It’s 595 miles, so I won’t make it all the way today. I’m on I/84 and keepin er in the wind till I burn my clock out.
