If you manage your hours of service, you will never have to do a reset. I get MORE rest, while running the same miles 7 days per week. I've been out this time for 2 months, and haven't done a reset. I drive 9 hours a day, then STOP! I drive at 60mph everywhere I go, to maximize fuel bonus. I drive 500 miles per day, times 7 days =3,500 miles a week. And never do a reset.
I've stated many times that Freymiller is a big boy company. A lot of drivers "think" they know how to truck, but they really don't.
Your available hours of service will determine your next load. Period.
IF you know how to truck, and SHOW them, they will run you hard.
As I've also said, if you have questions, pm me. As soon as the haters come out_ I will back away slowly, and disappear into the shadows.
There is so much FALSE information on here about Freymiller.

Good afternoon Sandman, I'm thinking about coming to Freymiller and would appreciate it if you'd give me some additional indo with them, I have over 6 years experience and because you've been with them I'd just like your opinion because I know some of the info on here is not true. Thank you in advance.
-
What do you want to know?
-
Because there is so much info on here about the company that's not true, I just want to hear from a driver who's been with them and that's doing well the true facts about them.
-
OK???
Ask me anything about this place. If I don't have the answer, I will point you to who does. -
The company is healthy enough that you will likely not have any atypical or nagging problems. Problems you are likely to see here are problems that may hit any company. With that said, the operations here are very smooth.
The top issue is money. So here we go...
The way you make money at Freymiller is you try to deliver and pickup on the same days.
Do not have any "dead days" as I call them whereby you sit for a day until it's appointment time.
If the scheduling of loads is not to your liking, use QC to message dispatch on what you want. I asked and got what I want.
Next thing, make your appointments both PU and Del. The shipper or cons usually takes care of you in less than 2hrs. If they don't, then you get paid. Otherwise, they will let you sit and rot (some). And they are not in any particular hurry. When your late to get loaded at SHIPPER, they take time to load you, and it messes with drive time on the way to CONS.
The less time delays you have, the more money you make.
Ops and dispatch is competent 95% of the time at getting you a schedule that is runnable.Metallica88, lovetwodrive and Speed_Drums Thank this. -
Do u know how teams do there I drove solo there 11years ago teams were doin doubles and carrot loads
-
I don't go to the terminal much. If a driver doesn't live in OKC or Texas, he will sparingly see the terminal. I don't see many teams, but they are out there.
Freymiller teams usually get KW T680s. Everybody else gets Peterbilts and Freightliner. Maybe a dozen shakers there. 500 trucks in fleet not including independent drivers with their own trucks and authorities.
They run mostly produce loads. So I guess they would be doing carrots if they are available.
I'm a solo and I do beef, chicken, cosmetics, milk, cheese, sour cream, juice, and produce, but more other stuff than produce. I know teams get way more produce though. I met a team at Loves in Santa Rosa, NM who told me that.Metallica88 Thanks this. -
Also, I don't think Freymiller has doubles.
