I've been driving B all of those yrs so I'm a newbie to big rigs. With this economy I'm thinking of just laying low. I did real good in real estate and stock market before the crash so maybe i'll just go fishing.

yeah but i don't have the money for a refresher course, so now what do i do? i haven't worked for over a yr now so i know they are wanting a refresher course. and i am waiting to find out what old employers put on my dac. i tell anyone if a place called specialized express calls, hang up!
they wanted me to run illegal and then when i got caught for a mudflap, i ended up paying the price 6 times more than what the ticket was. they kept telling me it was paid and found out almost a year later that it wasn't. colorado of all places.
i have seen so many places that wants teams now, but i am sceptical about teaming. i have had trainers, and team partners that have made it difficult for me to feel comfortable to go team. it is really hard when you are a woman to try to get someone you feel comfortable to be in a truck with for 2-3 wks at a time.

That's right... If you look a man in the eye and tell him you can do the job.... He'll give you a chance...if he believes you.

been thru the ringer to!!! i have been running heavey equipment for the last 10 yrs and drive for the same company(lowboy) and running cranes ,hell nobody want to give you a break,i took a differnt road, where i studyed the book to the test, paid my 360 bucks^#%$#^%# to do a pretrip and road test, past on the first try and nobody would talk to me cause i didnt get granfatherd in 10 yrs ago,now heres the kicker, all the kids here in south fla that are going to these schools are getting hired ??????no none what so ever new what a truck was and what its capable of ,have never been on black ice and or even driven in the snow,or delt with 80,000 on slick wet roads.even tho they wouldnt think about all that friction from the rubber to the ashphalt that the rain cools the tires somewhat, but yet nobody want to talk about??????so the question of the day so how dos it feel to be a minority!!!!!!!

I found that LCT and Swift are my only choices in FL so far. For the FLL guy try Armellini.
