Oh I saw that in Tennessee this weekend, the deck between the two trucks also had a bogey axle and could be towed by the lead truck while carrying a vehicle.

I was trying to figure out how the heck they put that assembly together!

I've seen small sub-compact cars sitting sideways across the skid plate before. Not quite sure how that worked.

My company uses a guy who tows his pickup truck to deliver new tractors to other terminals as well as to bring back old tractors they are taking out of service to sell. The tractor is his freight, and his pickup truck is his "bobtail" for deadheading between runs.

Everybody here is wrong. The guy was having an after treatment issue, and that cut back his power. He was using his personal vehicle to help push

Freightliner has a huge yard full of lease trade ins about hour south of nashville. The combination your talking about. The 1st truck hooks to the trailer by 5th wheel. Then the pickup drives up it like a ramp then it levels out. 2nd truck backs under other end of trailer and they chain the axles up in the air.

We have guys drive the Ranger out to pick up a truck or 4 and the take away is typically quite interesting.

Yeah that's exactly what it looked like. I think they dropped the airbags too. Then when the tail gunner is chained up, the lead truck fills the airbags.

    Very impressive.

I use a car dolly whenever i have to take my truck to the shop. It’s nice not having to worry about schedules and rides and such
