@shogun I challenge you to a fuel mileage contest for leadership of the clan.

This load has 13 stops. I'll reset my trip meter. It's about 1300 miles total.

    shogun Thanks this.

You should get one of those for your Volvo. Get the big eyebrow visor too.
Do you have any of those giant VOLVO decals on the truck?

Kind of unfair to you @Dave_in_AZ? Monday is a 598 mile one stop drop and hook. I have to run 60 or so for 200 miles of it, so I get pretty good fuel mileage that day. In fact, I ran it in 5/14 on that chart, got 8.08. However, if you are tossing the gauntlet down, I will accept. Stakes?

Not yet. Had the starter replaced. ECM is under warranty. That's like 2 days of hassle with paperwork. So that's getting done at home.

It's the ECM or the harness. It's not stuck at the moment, and I still have lots of hills to turn it on and off.

Dude. Freight's going off the chart. Lol. If I didn't have to get that fixed, I very well might just keep going lol. Just grab all the mail on the way by and go lol. I gotta rest a few days when I get home lmfao.

When more people run auto shift transmission everyone will learn how to use them. Like drivers saying they don't like the high RPMs the autos use to give the engine brake it full braking power. They will become the new normal

Everyone knows your not supposed to use the engine brake on slippery roads. Driver still do it and people driving auto will be on for a shock if they do that and see how much braking power it puts to the ground. Driver have to learn to let the rpms go a lot higher then they are used to on the older engines.

I will never get used to 2100 rpms on engine braking, 500k mile overheads, 50k mile services, or auto transmissions.
