Meh, sat around the truck stop here for awhile, think I'll truck south for a little while...

I guess I'm loading a machine in Mississippi Monday going to jersey then unloading and reloading another machine back towards home.

Hopefully back into my own ride pulling around a Mac trailer with a red Conestoga by the end of next week.

Where the heck has @Oxbow been?

 

Did a power unit only load out of Hot Wells, Tx which was stepdeck load of reels w/ 14" hose on them. Came off a lease and the security guard bit...girl told me the road was only 1 way, so I had to go 8-10mi of lease road around to get back out. 3 min in and an hour to get out.

Now Im sittin in Karnes City waiting for my phone call to pick up another PO to Pecos with a stop by the house in a few hrs. Gettin paid full rate for a bunch of deadhead miles I didn't have to run and then paid full rate to bobtail from Pecos to SA. Just added up the miles 986 paid mi and I only have to run 764.

#### I might not hook back up to the flatbed and just have the boss keep me PO

 

I’ve seen a lot of crazy stuff in the patch, but I don’t recall ever bein on a one-way lease road.

 

At least it’s flat right there.

 

Right? When I hit 2nd gate on the way out, the girl just waved me on. I got out ane knocked on her little trailer door and asked her if I was goin the right way. She said yep and just keep following the road left.

Funny thing is, all the oil field guys were going the other way in their pick ups.
