Round these parts they are too cheap to build a round trip thoroughfare like that. The road may be only wide enough for one truck, but you still have to figure out how to pass, and Lord help you if you get caught in the grass.
Unwritten rule: Loaded trucks have the right-of-way. If you’re empty you find a spot and let em through.
CB radios are a must. -

I’m headed to Newbern, Tn on Monday, hopefully striking out about 2 am or so on 55 north. I figured you might be picking up around Philadelphia where they make those big forklifts and parts at Taylor Machine/Sudden Service. Watch for deer on 25 if it’s dark out, they haven’t mowed the medians in awhile.Last edited: May 19, 2018
