And then they turned to steel plungers, correct me if I am wrong, and they still fail. Now they have a diamond encrusted mess they are coming out with. You will not be able to buy the rebuild kits any longer here, a new pump will be required. I think they have the price down below $3000. Not my idea of a "good" deal.

So it costs 10k to fix the fuel pump? Or 3k? -
So dies x15 do they come with the ceramic ones or the diamond steel one in the fuel pump? So you are saying the steel ones fail too? Do those blow your engine too? Once I get the truck I'll make sure I'll install a new fuel pump every 200k miles how much to they go for? -

I highly doubt anyone is getting 7-8 mpg with a 389. Unless they drive 45mph lol
