I'm thinking the 10500 is for the month, I wonder if it's contingent on that.....when I break down to weekly miles, that's 2625 miles per week. Figure the pay in, and that's equal to about 48 cpm....you're still running a lot of clock each week either way....the only thing is of a driver runs more than 2625 miles, he's locked in at $1275, which helps the company

I think I would take option 2. Keep your earning potential open. You don't want to locked into a salary and end up doing favors for free after you've ran your miles for the week. Besides, when I figure it up, it's marginal differences in pay per week running the same miles. Maybe about 30 dollars difference per week. What if you run 3000 or more miles? At cents per mile, youll match that salary or beat it

what if you only get 1500? (emissions, snow storms, useless warehouses, bad dispatch)

    protect the down side

solid same check every week helps you plan your life and not get caught out for bills. I know I make this much every week.

and if it works out way low, well go back in and renegotiate.

Guarantee if the company is paying you no matter what they are going to work hard to keep you moving. If it costs them nothing for you to sit.....................well.
