2001 Peterbilt 379, a lot of the air flow is coming out the defrost. So I guess the control that changes air flow from defrost, vents, feet is shot. I didn't have a lot of time but took panel off in front of passenger seat looking for the correct actuator. I saw the blend and recirculate actuators. Can anyone tell me where the mode actuator is located?

It's on top of the Mode Selector Housing (#8 in this pic). If the actuator is working, pull it off to check out the cam (#7) and manually operate the doors to see if they're stuck or broken.

Thank You, where is the mode selector housing located on the heater box?

About center of the dash, it's #2 on this pic. You can usually get to the mode actuator taking loose the center gauge panel and tilting it forward to get in there.
