I bet they are all legal. If not how could they operate? They cross scales.

 

The combined gross weight rating of an f450 is a LOT more than you think. Heck some 1 tons can haul 33k lbs.

Edit: i was speaking more about the guys that don't know what securement is, run on personal vehicle plates, claim their back seat is a sleeper, have personal vehicle insurance, and haul for stupid cheap cause they don't have the costs involved of actually operating legal. And then you have the folks that do operate legal, but run for low rates cause they just want "supplemental" income of 30/40k a year.

 

So what are we talking here? You state a 350 miles radius of Haines city. Does that mean that gauges city is the main point of origin? What are we talking? 3.50 a mile gross on those runs? Something like around 1k gross a day for the trucking? See how easy that was?

Without those details I'm just giving out my info to yet one more cheap as sin broker to flood my inbox and phone with low ball offers for the next ten years so i miss out on the freight that actually pays enough to pull.

We get enough telemarketers tying up our phone lines. Most of us aren't going to risk more of that without any details.

 

What equipment do you want? over the years I've bought dozens of different types of equipment to fulfill my customers needs and none of them effected me to go spend a hundred grand on equipment before having a some basic talk about rates. Think I'll continue working in the aerospace segment. Boeing and lockheed martin even the freaking DoD are willing to talk rates right away.


Fyi. Its poor taste to advertise on a website that has legit companies paying for advertising. You can't expect to be treated like a legit good paying company while treating ttr as your free load board. If you want to get your name out to the trucking community then contact the owners of the website and pay for advertising like every other legit enterprise.

Haha. It can get tedious. In all fairness i really am trying to be patient with them. Always open to capitalise on opportunity and all that. You and i could have whatever equipment (and the professional driver that represents both parties professionally) fit their needs in their driveway in a week. But holy hell sometimes it's difficult to practice that patience.

 

Would any truckers in this forum be interested in guaranteed runs every two-three weeks? These runs would consist of multiple stops and unloading of material (approx. 200lbs each). The pickup location would be in the Florida panhandle and would service multiple stops across Florida, Mississippi, Alabama & Georgia.

The average trip would be approximately 2,500 – 3,000 miles and take 5 days. We will pay per mile for each run. We would also provide an enclosed trailer that you would be able to also use when not making runs for us.

After a few runs we are willing to do a multi-year contract that guarantees runs every two-three weeks.

 

That should not be hard to find. You made your post in the right place, give it a little time. People in that area are looking for work all the time.

 

I'm not sure about the F-450 but I see F-350's/Ram 3500's doing this all the time. And it's actually illegal in a lot of cases because the loads are exceeding the axle ratings of those pickups. Lucky for them that the DOT rarely enforces it, otherwise a lot of hotshot car haulers would be off the road. I do know that the F-550 and Ram 5500 can handle these loads with ease and the axle rating is suitable for it. Don't know about the F-450, however.
