The KW I think they used in that movie would top at 100 roughly. I always thought with a little more room you could get up to 120 with it. But that would be a little hard to do what with the big V8 CATS of the time. Im not sure what engine they used in that movie rig but it's up there.

X1 why would it be hard to do that with a V8 cat? You every drive a V8 cat?

Here is a picture of my 78 V8 cat. No problem getting the job done.

Nice. Always loved that old factory Pete paint scheme. Back when trucks were painted at the factory more than one color, not like today. My new Eagle in 1977,NTC 350. Could almost keep up with you big boys, once I turned it up,lol.

I believe they were called "pie wagon" on the cb...
    TransCon was "trash can"
    CF was "corn flake"
    Roadway was "big R"
    Halls was "cough drop"
    McLean was "double diamond"
    Interstate was "dollar sign"
New Penn still is "green machine"
    Schneider still is "pumpkin"
    UPS still is "buster brown"

Not aerodynamic at all. You would have to make huge amounts of HP to run 120.

Jeez, I just thought of an outfit, it's a meat packing place. They're still around just can't remember their name right now. Well, back in the day, they had a whole chorus line of pigs down the sides of their trailers. "Go-Go Girls"
Couldn't do that today with all the political correctness crap!
Just remembered, it was Hatfield out of Pa, I think
