I used to do that...... You'll get past that eventually.... or die from stress complications...

Now I'm to the point of trying to figure out how long I stay home after doing 3 days of local stuff.....

There was a Landstar here this morning in a nice blue Kenworth with a BIG Russian Blue Tabby sitting on his console at the fuel island.

I left mine at home while I do all this local stuff.
    Now I miss my kitty's.

Well. I didn't plan it this way. So anyway I'm looking at the board, which just has an absolutely mind boggling amount of freight on it.

And, well, I didn't want to book this load. I tried not to. But, well, I booked it. I mean, it's a lot of coin, direct ship, picks up 10 miles from the house.

And, well, already booked one half way back for a lot of coin, but it goes to a low freight area ( St. Louis ).

I am ashamed. It wasn't my fault.

Well I'm sitting waiting for the dock to clear so I can take this through the holiday weekend and into next week.

I was going to stay home, eat steak, and drink beer.
But it's a lot of money.
    I am ashamed.

I did have time for one giant steak last night, and a couple Dos Equis Dark.

Now I have a fully stocked truck with all kinds of delicious & nutritional food.
And lots of cat food, and extra container of cat treats.

I just powered through a chicken breast & thigh that were SOOOOO delicious.

    I am ashamed.

Twice this week I saw a gigantic Landstar Ranger with a rgn trailer, his tractor was like an rv with just the tandems and fifth wheel sticking out the back.
How come he has the nice ride?

Cause he's probably been at it for longer than six months.

Actually, my wife and met a Canuck LS team a few months back who finally convinced me to consider leasing my truck on to LS...I started the process last week, but still have some questions. Just started looking at the reviews so that I could get an idea of how LS operates.
