It's always a good feeling when you sleep in (on purpose) and get a call from dispatch that the customer in Thompson wanted the salt in bags on pallets, but sent the load info saying bulk in pneumatics. So I hadn't started my day yet.

Too bad I went all the way to Moosomin instead of stopping in Brandon. Oh well, it's a nice day and not too hot.

Meat loaf taters and okrey

 

Ours is known as winter wheat. My family planted it in October run a hot wire round it and turned the cows out on it till March. Then let it finish makin and combine what we could. It did hurt the yield a bit but was worth it in terms of feed money saved. Mix ya a lil vetch in there and woo mama they would go ta town.

Burn it off after combining and baling (small square bales yep sucked) then plant soybeans behind it
