Ya, won't kill you just cripple you for life......
You know they stack stuff on those decks, ie lumber, hay bales, just as high as a tank, plus you have the joy of trying to cover said load while wind is blowing with a sail, I mean tarp.

ChancesRGood Thanks this. -
yeah not going with them now but thanks for real input on them... still in the air but holding on to hope

I’ve been a tanker driver for 4 years and NEVER walk on the cat walk, I got myself some knee pads and crawl on top on all fours Much safer especially on those wet windy days hope this helps .. any company that makes you walk up there I would say thanks but no thanks
-
I worked at Roehl for 2 years out of Georgia Atlanta Area and loved it it’s a good place to learn but I wouldn’t stay there longer than a year and a half once you got that experience move on to better paying companies good luck
-
53 and a half cent is good, isn't it? That's the top pay at Roehl dry van national.SOAthor and Swiss Mountain Dog Thank this.

Wow much better than when I was there in 2013 ... they were very anal about following there trip plan and fueling stops which is good when you’re learning not so much when you log a few years .... oh and there 63MPR trucks in cruise control..... I love were I’m at now..... I’m home every weekend and all major holidays I run dedicated from Atlanta to Texas every week working on percentage .... but I can’t say anything bad about Roehl good company good luckLast edited: May 25, 2018
SOAthor Thanks this. -
Roehl - low pay , micromanagement. Great job for kids and ok to start your driving career but once you learn move on to a professional company and make some real money.
EzekelRAGE Thanks this. -
Don’t go to Roehl. Bad bad news for you if you do. There level of micromanagement is really silly. They love the driver facing cameras so be prepared to have 22 year old kids in cubicles telling you how to be a “Roehl” driver , lots and lots of fun right there.
