Where is everyone #5

This Memorial Day, I am going to take time to remember the Old School Drivers who:

1. Went to bed crawling across a doghouse.
2. Used hand signals to tell other drivers about cops on the two lane.
3. Rode on spring ride.
4. Poured rubbing alcohol in fuel tanks to get a few extra mph out of them old 318’s.
5. Had Dayton wheels all around.
6. Used atlases and pay phones.

Those are the guys who made it possible for the multiple gps using,needing their hand held, automatic trans button pushing crybabies. Here’s to the Old School

 

I don' t miss wiping that pay phone off on my britches before using it. Or calling collect sayin my name was M.T. wagon. So when Dad answered he would know I was empty. He would ask the operator if the call was from x place then I knew to head that way. If I was loading in a strange place he accepted the charges but I better have a pencil and paper ready cause I was fixin to get more info than anyone can remember lol

 

It’s worse from the rear. Plus the sides scream Honda Ridgeline/Tacoma.

It’s just awful. This is coming from someone who thinks the Ram 2500/3500 is the best looking full size truck too... boy did they screw the pooch on the new 1500...

 

Lol, That there is quite a system and all the while stickin it to Ma Bell!

 

Supervising the pool sweeper....it's a rough job but someone has to do it....it's got stuck once in the last hour and I had to get out of my chair and walk three feet to bump it with my foot. Gotta ask mama if I get bump pay for that....

 

LOL, I'm doing the same thing, except I don't have a cement pond. She's been after me for a month to get everything hooked up so she can get going on getting the water right so she's off to get chemicals now.
