We don't use chemicals..... Don't even cover it in the winter. Spring comes dump in three bags of salt and a bag of shock and turn it on. Add two more bags of salt in late July.

Ugh... I hate swimming pools. I want mine gone.

Just like a boat, it’s a hole you throw money into.

Yours looks very inviting though. :)

I hear that alot....main reason is people listen to the pool place on how to take care of them. You realize their in business to make money. Other than the cost to run the pump this cost under a Benjamin a year. Other then tossing in the automatic sweeper that is twenty years old we don't touch it.

Well Mr @Bear135 you said you hoped I made it home for the weekend and I did. Got in yesterday afternoon. Parked at the yard and decided to grease the truck before I head home for a shower. Course I noticed a wheel seal just starting to seep but decided to wait till today on that.

Home, shower, dinner, bed. Up at the crack of dawn, wife has a list, walk the dogs, grocery shopping, cut limbs and dispose of limbs, take one dog to the groomer, clean the house. That brings us to NOON, and I’ve still got a wheel seal to change and a windshield to put in.

Bout ready to get back to work so I can rest. Lol.

That made me laugh, cause I'm picturing you at the row of phones with one up to your ear, and the other guys standing there hear the only thing you say is "m.t. wagon"....then pause, hang up and leave. LOL
