Ok driver, I want you to reread your post and then think about this...
Would it have been better to lose the 10 minutes it would have taken to check your route or does $750.00 represent an irrelevant loss of income to you?
I'm not trying to bust your chops just using this as a teaching moment. Late and safe is better than on time and fined... or worse.
Scared as hell.

For being on a restricted road or for being overweight and getting his permit pulled?wore out and Broke Down 69 Thank this.

Will an atlas show a street changing to 5000 pounds? I don’t think mine does. I’ve ran into this in places I’m familiar with. The better question is was it marked before he turned on the street?Highway Sailor, wore out, jammer910Z and 1 other person Thank this.

I
I understand the situation. And it probably won’t happen again. Just dang.wore out Thanks this. -
No it was not. It was normal and the street eventually changed at an intersection going straight was the way I went which got me fined. Left was also restricted and right was an extremely tight turn with almost no shoulder and I was more concerned with dropping the trailer in a ditch and weighed it out that I’d rather risk a cop...NavigatorWife Thanks this.

It will be ok. Just think of it as a very expensive learning experience lol.Ultratowel Thanks this.

I actually am mistaken. I’m confusing a different road with this one idk how that happened...going right and going straight was restricted. I was going south on Monroe and turned into dralle. I couldn’t sit here and reverse back all the way up Monroe and no room to turn around...

Although thinking about it. I could have gone past dru and backed into dru then went back north...

No permit on a weight restricted road.
Wasn't over gross or axle.
I remember another driver posting one for over$13k.
Add in a bridge on that road and you could be super screwed.NavigatorWife Thanks this.
