Well I talked to the manager at a repair shop,he said International put Bondo or glue to reinforce it,which is the DUMBEST thing they could have done. The guy said to use a air hammer w/ chezel, that only worked till I got to the corner,it loosen it up a ways but the corner is still unmovable. My only option is to spend more money and take it to the repair shop. I wonder if TUGTOY just did the bottom half. Wish he would answer, Thanks anyway to everybody trying to help.

No glue. I had the same problem and cut mine in half also. There are two bolts at the top facing the rear of the cab. You can’t see them in the truck but you can see the holes on the new unit. Once I figured it out and took them out it came right out. So there are 4 bolts on the bottom and 6 holding the top (4 to the sides and 2 on the back). Good luck

Ok the ones that go towards the back oh the cab I just used an extension and a 9/16 (I think, they are all the same size) socket until I found the head of the bolt. There is enough room to swing a ratchet if your extension is just long enough? You can see the bolt holes on the brackets.

The other 4 that go from the inside top towards the sides of the sleepers. The two towards the front of the truck are self expanding. The 2 behind that I had to cut the nut and bolt off of the bracket on the outside of the channel. I don’t know how else you would do it? There is not enough room to swing anything in there?

    Dose that make since?

Look closely at the picture above.

There are 4 bolts on the bottom bracket ( facing down) and 6 on the top bracket 4 from the inside facing out and 2 from the inside facing back). E1B07F59-3550-4429-8AC6-2960EE334E8B.jpeg 1738E357-772F-4A3E-A240-05FEF4618C4B.jpeg
