Im doin a quick run over the border into LA, but don't know if my next load is bringing me back to Tx or outbound somewhere else

 

C’mon down here panhandle way and get some mud on yer feet.

Fix’n to load for Perryton in a few. No rock on this one, rained a bunch last night, dozer waitin at the entrance. Gonna be a blast, no doubt.

 

Man that thing’s got character oozing out of every nick and scratch. Not much on the road these days cooler than that.

 

Sitting here sweating my nuts off getting loaded.


This is a new one for me. I showed up and told them I hoped the didn't want a flat deck seeing the bags on pallets. But the receiver wants it blown off, so we're all good, lol.

 

Only time I’ve ever been loaded out of super sacks like that was when I was scaling out and was a little light. They had a super sack with about a half a ton in it sittin next to the scale for just that purpose.

Hope you ain’t having to load 50,000 like that. Might take a while.

So that said I'm a tad bummed out. Had to splash the tank at Hubbard but no time to eat. Which brings me to my next question. I'm loading in Salem have seen a couple post about Newcomerstown do they got food there we are bout to go down from lack of it?

 

McDonalds is about all next door from the Duke. Duke has sandwichs and that's about all. Might b something I'm not familiar with there....? @superhauler

Nothing worth a dang. There is a BBQ joint at new phily but ya can't get a truck in there unless you park across the street at the sheets gas station and walk across. Exit #81 on east side of interstate. Domino's delivers to the truckstop if that is your last option.
