Got home... Grabbed a snack and was watching the news thinking a nap before mama got home.

Call from dad "air quit working.... I checked the fuses...bring your meter"

Look in the fuse box...blown fuse. Ran the circuit .....dehumidifier toast. Took me a twenty and a thirty amp to convince him....I think...even had him feel how hot the plug wire was.

He had one 30 left so the air is on and they're cool.

He's the one that taught me to do this stuff...his mind just don't work well anymore.... Hard to watch but whatever they need.....that's why I'm here.

I'll likely take his route just because I take the 294 around Chicago all the time and they say nothing. I'm really starting to contemplate getting my own truck. I'm sick and tired of Ontario.

Better than using the mud puddle, choice of many "working girls".

    Looks good Jim

I thought it was the most thought provoking piece of graffiti I ever seen.
Zero funny about it imo- which is actually the point of it to my eyes.
In the past couple of months I've watched quite a few video documentary type pieces on how fast food is manufactured. And it is exactly that, manufactured.
I saw a piece last week on the potatoes used to make McDonald's French fries. Makes eating #### look positively appetizing comparatively.

I don't always eat as good as I did last nite: I rather have nothing than fast food, that I can gaurantee.

    Nasty is accurate.

I'm going to call Vanguard trailers and complain. Me "what kind of circus outfit are yall running? These auto slack adjuster back off clutches strip out after five years not being greased!" You need better quality control!

On a related note, the 30 cents in grease it costs seems cheaper than the new slack adjuster and labor, not to mention the potential OOS if one or more neglected ones backs off every time you apply the pedal. One of those "ooh, scale coming up, where's the 7/16?"

And hubs you pack grease in, bearings of all types, any zerks for that matter. I dislike sealed maintenance items with a passion.
