    I would recommend a product called Nylog.....the fittings you have going on that unit will be flared. Nylog will help prevent vibration from loosening those fittings and your refrigerant from leaking out.

    1. Existing threaded holes for bracket.
    2. I have reefer and it need some room to open reefer unit doors without trailer drop.
    3 It was easy to install piping
    4 compressor noise is away from my head area.

    They're flexible copper lines. I've had it running for over a year now and no issues from it. My girlfriend stitched together a canvas cover that we use while we're moving to keep big stuff out. IMG_20180420_163005965.jpg

    @Snailexpress what are the cement ions of the head unit in the cab? I have a Vnl 780 and it has a small cabinet across the top

    Yeah my bed is actually on the top. The upper bunk doesn't fold away so trying to see if I can place it higher so it doesn't blow directly on me

    When i was thinking aboutva split unit in my 780
    I was planing to make a mount over the windschield area
    and run the pipes true the shelfs on the passanger side

    That is a good thought to place it in the fron instead of the rear wall! Hummmm. Not more thinking to do lol. Just have to think about the drain......
