Ugh... no BBQ score tonight, just Subway and a great looking Mexican joint 20 minutes away on foot. Not sure I want to do that hike in this heat.

I honestly doubt that some of them have seen the dash of a truck, let alone shifted a gear!

I feel at home running north and south. Wish I could get some longer legs for the old girl though. 64 is really killing me in these 75/80 zones.

3270 miles from the yard to Texarkana (where this stuff is made in bulk) to Calgary at 60 mph average is 54.5 hours. With pretrip, fuel and loading/unloading, that's a good solid week just to get to Calgary.

If I ran 80 maxed out, kept *near* the speed limit, and could average 71-73 mph, that's four and a half days. ####, I could leave Sunday, and be back in Winnipeg Friday in time for supper with 4100 miles on the week. AND get the scenic route.

Screw the "6000 club" (over 6000 miles in two weeks), I'd be in the 8000 club. I could very much live with never seeing Ontario ever again.

Would like to thank the two hoods who parked on either side of me to protect my little aero truck from the onslaught of Swift and Averitt drivers bombing around this Petro...

Your contributions are always welcomed and your sacrifices do not go unnoticed... :D:p

    Why not move down here?

Their loss would be our gain.

Besides, you’ll be able to own cooler guns than Canada will let you have. :D

You might want to rethink that plan and figure out how to triple it on half the miles you running now.....but that's just a old beach bum talking.....
