Take it to an independent shop, it's cheaper than a dealer usually. Drive it for 5 or 6 years and find someone looking to buy a truck that doesn't have all the headaches of emissions bs, or drive it till you retire.

You are looking at it all wrong. People delete after the warranty is up. People don’t go to dealers after the warranty or after the delete. After the delete, you do not need a dealer. Any diesel mechanic can diagnose and repair the engine after all the emissions crap is gone. After the delete, there are no emissions problems with the motor and the motor holds up. Resale value? That does not ruin resale. People don’t usually sell the truck after the delete. The truck is problem free. You are just trying to justify something in your own mind buddy

You are better off never letting a dealer touch your truck, let alone the engine.

That and when you buy a truck and do a full emissions delete, you do so with the intention of keeping it. If you do so otherwise, you Should not be buying a truck at all.

Your 2 cents is fine. It’s just that you didn’t think it through before you said it. Of course dealers won’t touch a delete truck. Emissions is the only reason people are forced to go to dealers dude. You think someone is gonna go to a dealer for a injector, a starter, a fuel pump, a turbo, a power steering pump, a u joint, a clutch??? Come on man. They go to the local truck shop where they don’t give 2 craps about your emissions delete. Dealers are for emissions issues and warranty’s. Maybe you are just a driver and not an owner operator. Who knows, but your logic is a little silly

Saw guys towed off in Jersey for having deleted stuff.

Sure was nice last time in Denver to not have a black cloud downtown.
