This thread is pure gold. Just so much good stuff happening here.... you have a (presumably) older man (1278PA) asking for advice. Gokiddo and others have some straightforward responses that should’ve wrapped up the thread. But oh no, not this one. 1278 is out for blood. He latches onto gokiddo and just riffs on him wonton abandon. Calls him names and threatens him yet accusing gokiddo of being a kitty, a female dog, and whatever else, and my favorite- a millennial. Gasp. I bet that one really made gokiddo shudder. I mean what, being a millennial and all, he’s only as strong as a snowflake, ready to melt at any moment..... who’s the snowflake here? Who’s melting from simple criticism? Resorting to violent threats through a screen? Acting like a spoiled child? If anyone needed a safe space it’s people like you 1278. Maybe use your anger energy and channel that into something soothing like yoga or stretching or learning. Whatever keeps you from boiling over like you seem to.

I knew this thread started yesterday evening.... 10 pages in a few hours, I knew it was either a good “what would you do” or arguing.

I can’t imagine being up late at night or any other time of day really and threatening to beat someone up.

 

Hell guys, the thread was started at 7:20 pm, my time and the last time the op replied was at midnight - 4 hours and 40 minutes of this, so with his 7 hours already into it, he would have had 11 hours in the sleeper.

I don't know you or how old you are. I hope you do not make it a practice to challenge people in the real world. It's easy to be a font Rambo. These boards are full of them. You try that crap out in the real world and you might find yourself being stabbed with a WASP injection knife. I know for a fact many drivers use them even I have one. You ever get stabbed by one of these weapons and survive it, you will have learned a very important life's lesson. NEVER I will repeat NEVER challenge someone to a fight. Breach of peace charges can be brought. If 2 or more start fighting rioting charges can be filed. You do hurt someone you might get charged with assault. I'm an old fossil butt. I am also not the only one in here. I'm trying to give you advice here to lower that thermostat before someone else or a Judge does. Oh BTW, I'm not kidding about that WASP knife!
