Preaching to the quire, see my thread on starting my truck at Rawze’s place. None of this would have been possible if we lived beyond our means, dealer screw up or not.

I’m not in the struggle with them, if they want to pull their weight I’m with them if not screw em. I make a good living I’m not ashamed of it and I don’t feel sorry for those who don’t. I worked two jobs for years despite the fact that my main job pays good, why? Because I want better, at one time I made just above minimum wage working on a farm. Farms aren’t required to pay OT (or minimum wage for that matter) and I got by, how? Worked, 80 plus hours a week, I built myself up. Showed up every day sober on time and ready to work. Didn’t live beyond my means, didn’t get anyone pregnant, didn’t say no when asked to do something, didn’t spend my time worrying about what others had or how fair it was. Became the guy they called because they knew they could count on me and it’s paid off. Why should I feel sorry for someone that thinks they can be irresponsible and do the minimum and have the same lifestyle as me? These people that find it “difficult” do they have a smart phone? Cable? Smoke just a little weed? Nope screw them, tell them to meet me at 5:30 tomorrow and we’ll get them on the way to independence but if they can’t even muster up the ambition to say welcome to McDonald’s and just stare at me then we are not in the struggle together.

You worked hard brother, but you had to some things go your way. You did say you didn't get anyone pregnant, you didn't say you abstained hahahaha.....kids can derail things in a hurry. You maintained good health. There are some instances of good fortune that we take for granted that can allow us to elevate, or derail us al together. We may have fun with a woman one night and sometimes it goes the wrong way. Everyone's situation is different. I give you credit for getting where you are. I've been lucky too. I've been able to navigate my life how I wanted. I've been lucky to have the right guidance, good health, and a good background. I've made some terrible decisions, been the one with the drug addiction. I was lucky to survive those bad decisions. I could be locked up....attitude is everything though. I may do well, but I don't forget where I came from.

Yep I fooled around a little, got lucky? Maybe, did some people not get as lucky? Maybe, getting pregnant out of wedlock can certainly happen. How can you expect me to feel sorry for those who have done it multiple times? We’re not talking about diseas or legitimate disabilities here, I’m willing to chip in for them. I’m taking about the loser at McDonald’s that just blankly stares at you like the idiot last night, if you can’t even be bothered to say welcome to McDonald’s how may I help you I’ll have little sympathy for your financial plight.

Yep you got lucky.....and I got lucky most of the time lol....it could have been worse so that's why I can't really talk about about people who fool around, who make babies out of wedlock, who did drugs, I don't necessarily sympathize, but I do understand and relate. I'm not going to judge them because my life could have totally gone a different direction had it not been for the grace of God, four leaf clover, rabbits foot, or whatever superstition or belief system.
