Not trying to be pessimistic.... I wouldn't get on a road king. Do your research. Have a friend got 32 staples in his head....and he was wearing a full face helmet.

Got over heated one day unloading hogs. About 90 outside. A lot hotter in the trailer. All I could do to get them off, pulled one dead and said nope not happening. Went inside and got 2 of the high school kids from the cleaning crew to pull the rest. Not a good day. 15 on the trailer and about 15 more didn't make it. Kid loading them ran em way to hard. He had his backside chewed by many people that day.

That’s what I didn’t like about hauling killers. Spend half the evening and part of the night putting the load together, run 5-600 miles then get to the kill plant. It’s 90 degrees outside, and there are 15 trucks ahead of you. They unload four at a time but it still takes a while to get to the chute.

I had a charlois coming off the top deck lose her legs, and at 1000 lbs she wasn’t getting back up. Guy running the floor was saying the FDA is on site, blah blah. I said look man,she was walking fine til she hit the ramp, she’s healthy just dehydrated. Worker gets the bolt gun, hits her, hook a chain to the hoof and drags her off. That heat ain’t no joke for man or beast.

Lol...to quote bon Jovi "I don't do this for for the fame, the money, or the glory....

I do it cause I've always done it..... And I like it. Most make it cause they chase it. Running a specialized should pay bounce rates....they hard to get....brokers laugh at our rate...they still keep calling and begging.
