Thanks for the update. I have pushed out my school until a March Finish. Has got to be better than the Banking business. Crap, compare this to 30 women with no one in control of the thermostat. (wink) OK kidding sorta.

I spoke with a recruiter this morning who stated Roehl has not implemented a hiring freeze, but they are booked through mid February.

Anyone know if I would qualify for the 7-on/7-off program living in Rochester, NY? From what I've read it seems like I'de have to live closer to Ohio.

    Joseph,

I asked the same question several pages back. I tried using the website feature that the poster above me references, but it did not work. Here is my question and response from earlier last month. Hope this helps:

Does Roehl hire individuals for their part-time reefer fleet who live in the N.E. Oklahoma area? I get the feeling 7/3 - 7/4 positions are only available in certain parts of the country.

Andrew you must live within 150 miles of a terminal or a drop yard that has the home-time fleets. The closest one to you that I know of is in K.C. Keep in mind you leave the truck at the terminal/yard and drive home and back after every seven day outing.

    Baack Thanks this.

Hehe I'm still around. I stopped driving OTR a little over two years ago and got on with Coca-Cola. Oh and of course there was the 9 months I spent in Afghanistan with the National Guard. Anyways I've been thinking pretty long and hard about going back OTR and Roehl is still the company I would go with. Anyways I'm glad things worked out for ya!

I'm glad to hear that, ####y. Unlike most drivers, I like knowing I might get a load to Canada. Do you have any idea how often one might get a load up there? What parts of Canada do they run to?

Well I only went through Canada once, and that was just a short-cut from Vermont to Michigan. I normally stuck to the southeast, so I don't really know what the Canada runs are like.
