100 percent agree.
If they got that big V-8 Mack in em I'm in heat -
Papaw had a old late 70s IH cabover 4070 Transtar II with a red 3406 in it.
I never realized it until later in life that it was actually a factory IH red color CAT instead of CAT yellow.Last edited: Jun 1, 2018

Does that mean people with a Cummins ISX can say they have a red CAT?

Lol as long as they are setting at the TA lunch counter sure, they can even tell people it was built by Davey Crockett

Were the First of the Maxidynes ( early 70's) a E Series? I drove the ones rated at 237hp and the Company bought one of the Gold R-600's with the 300hp when they came out in 73 IIRCOxbow, 1951 ford, Hurricane69 and 11 others Thank this.

You know what got me about driving a Mack. 2 axx holes have no business in a face off all day long.

A friend of mines dad ran one. He told me that back in the early 80s he had a 1693. A young guy walked in the truckstop and said " hey, whoever owns that cabover Pete that says rocket on that back of the bunk better get outside and shut it off. It's knocking BAD, something's wrong with it".
He spoke up and says, "son, if you DONT hear that old 1693 knocking, that's when you better come tell us, cause thats when something's wrong with it".
