    Hello guys,

I had a citation at the scale in California. Officer inspected my truck and found little issues. He requested me to go back there with everything fixed. I never went back (forgot conpletely) but have everything fixed since then. Question: he didn’t fill my ticket to the court after 7 months. What should I do?

Doesn’t sound like it was an actual citation but more like a fix-it ticket.

Is that what it looks like?

It shows as Notice to Correct Violation.

don't you just have the garage stamp it, and they mail it, or they give it to you, and YOU mail it?

    Bakerman Thanks this.

There are certain things that the correct approach is: if it's not broke, don't fix it.

The status of your CDL is not one of those things. If you were issued any kind of citation at a weigh station, then typically it must be signed and mailed in by you or your carrier.

Perhaps others can chime in about what happens if you fail to sign and fax/mail in the signed violation/citation.

the garages have rubber stamps. they stamp the back (or the front) of the ticket, then sign off on the repairs. this way, the ticket can be traced back to them as proof of repairs.

California fix-it ticket. After you fix your issues, you go to any scale in Ca.,and they recheck and sign it off. At least that's how it used to be.

The problem here is that my due date has expired over 7 months now.
