Uber freight is terrible!!! Beware

For 16.5% from the carrier + whatever from the customer I'll do 2 day quickpay without blinking lol. I'll cough up the 4% for my brokerage my own self.

 

$35/hr detention?! That's pretty low. No rate confirmation?! That's pretty stupid.

 

I see in the video that he drives a Crapcadia and does NOT have a dash cam... 2 pretty big mistakes in just a 3 minute video!! Think they could have found a professional driver versus this guy who has some of the "stereotypical look" and all of the propaganda language down pat!!

Well they have more spokespersons like J Cannell, The Snows, and Will Kline. So I guess that is the super group of trucking specialists. They know all that there is about the trucking industry.
Or they like talking to a camera, and sounding smart.

 

Isn’t Cannell a company driver too?

 

If you can get into a brokers internal thought process getting new clients is a breeze. Drivers think they have it figured out, your simply a piece to the puzzle that creates the big picture. Be the entity that is putting the puzzle together and soon you will learn that all this is a simple game.

 

Uber Freight is a Horrible Broker. DO NOT USE. They only look out for their Shippers interest. I went to pick up a load in Dallas. The Shipper delayed me 3-hours. I informed Uber Brokers about the problem and they stated the receiver was aware of my late arrival and would work me in. I arrived at the receiver at the agreed I stated for a work in and the receiving facility was closed. I called Uber and they had no answers. I asked for a Supervisor and the broker said no one was available. I asked for an account manager’s supervisor and she said no one was available. They waisted my time, money, and blew my weekend work schedule. All they had to do was tell me I would not be received so I can stop at home, since I had to pass by home anyway. But they refused to be honest with me. Horrible Broker!!!! Don’t use!!

I just figured uber was going to be a disaster when I first heard of it. .. they are just another cut rate service trying to get a foot hold or take over the trucking buisness
