    Not exactly... I'd have to ask mom what parts they made for them. My wife used to do the invoicing but doubt if she'd know what they were. That all happened after I left. Most of the business was John Deere after Kenworth cut back on swing arm brackets. I made ALOT of them.

    Ok how bout they make more of their own equipment than any other manufacturer. Technically funk makes the transmissions for the 8000 series twin disc makes them for the 9000 series.

    In the older stuff all the major components were made by Deere with some outsourcing done here and their

    Yep...they didn't start outsourcing till early 90's that I'm aware of. That's the same time they went to the two teir pay scale.

    I forgot to mention that yesterday rollin through Gainesville, Tx I saw a fire truck pulled up by a truck haulin a grain trailer. My 1st thought was "oh #### did it catch on fire?" but as I rolled past, I saw one of the guys doing chest compressions on the driver. Ambulance was less than a minute away as I saw it right after.

    Kind of a surreal thing to see and made me think a little.
