Does that still make water?? We filled stock tanks with a windmill when I was in school. My daily summertime workout was to disconnect the windmill and fill them by hand.
Nowadays, I prefer to flip a switch or pull a handle. -

I got me one of those to. She told me this week was a little tougher for her than the last few months, but she got by.
Two things she never wants me doing, cattle (because of the smell) and fuel (she doesn't like the idea of me dragging around a bomb). Not that either had ever crossed my mind, but she told me flat out.
I couldn't imagine my life without her.Cattleman84, 4mer trucker, Feedman and 10 others Thank this. -
I've had it working if you prime it. It needs new leathers. It had a windmill over it but was gone when I bought the place. The old legs work their way up every so often. I have one now I need to dig up and cut off before I ruin a mower tire.
I used to have to pump water when I was young at home. We finally put a hydrant in the barn and a waterer in the lot in the mid 70's.4mer trucker, Ruthless, Shock Therapy and 7 others Thank this.
