Marvel Mystery Oil and a heavy industrial degreaser to finish it off.

Wash with soap and water.

I used an old toothbrush and cloth to scrub. I used some old kitchen steel wool (I know I know lmao) on one of the fenders. Didn’t scratch much and you could always polish and wax to clean that up if you had an entire truck covered in this ####.

The main thing is just having enough elbow grease and patience. You want the oil to kinda sit for a minute or two, makes it a lot easier to take off in the end.

... only thing left is the headache rack and the tarp box. Girl is home so I’ll save that for next week

 

That's what I need to do is some polishing!!! You ever try cutting up a piece of rough carpet? That's what I use on diamond plate. Seems to work about the best if you're doing it by hand.

How bout an oversize Duralight cac. You will never worry bout failure again.

 

I use detroit rads forever. Never had an issue with them. Thier cac I did, cracked in less than a year can't take the pressure.

 

@wore out don't forget the fins in rad. Try and go 14 per inch or 16 per inch, disapation of heat faster.

 

I think the radiator I have in the flat top I got from American. I've never had problems with it. Cools good but need to remember to kick the fan on if I get to working it. I have the big condenser too that covers most the radiator. I assume you have the small condenser on the bottom like my stand up.

I was gonna make a thread but decided it wasn't worth the trouble. But I'm curious how bad the heat is on day one of the blitz. I sorta feel like a sell out for missing it
