what about PAM Transportation

can you tell me if they have a hair test or urine test

 

Urine test.....but if you gotta ask, stay out of a truck.

 

I started at Auntie PAM back in 2012, the trainer picked me up at home. I stayed at home with Auntie PAM for two years, I trained new drivers there as well....quite frankly I am ready to move back in with Auntie PAM.

As far as how she treats people, it's all on how you look at things. I had very few issues with dispatch, I got home when I wanted to, but not after I was sent to Detroit (from southwestern Michigan). Trainers are treated well, teams are treated well.

Now don't believe the hype when people say you don't make money at PAM, yes you will!!!! It's called having a good attitude and not letting the grass grow under your tires.

If you got a good codriver that likes to run, then you will cash in, if u solo and like to run then you will make money.

I have no problem referring people to PAM, they will put through b.s. but just roll with it.

 

what % of pam freight is no touch. their ads say they haul truck loads of auto parts, a/c units, etc., and is all no touch. Close or a strech? i have over 17 years driving with my current co. may be looking for a change. i have trained drivers with my current co and may be interested in pursuing something like that with another carrier. any thoughts would be appreciated!

 

As a trainer you will do very well with PAM, and will almost never fingerprint freight.

 

I'm starting school in less than a week I stopped smoking weed almost 7 months ago I know it stays in your hair longer than urine I was wondering does Pam urine or hair before I waste my time I'm ready to start my career as a truck driver just wanna know should I wait or find another company

 

Chris1101 what ended up happening? Was it a hair or urine test? I am also curious as I am in same situation. And I keep hearing urine test only but I want to be sure before I go all the way to training I dont want to waste anyone's time let alone be labeled a failed DOT of its Hair..I know on a urine I will be good but hair is up to 120 days what I read. Please respond with your experience going there so I can know what to expect. Greatly appreciate it thanks
