Get it in writing with his signature, talk it over with the hubby. If it includes a raise, enforce it with HR before rolling out with a load.

Make sure that your F//M or Dispatcher and their supervisor is copied on the VP's email. This is essential, as it will put everyone in your chain of command on notice ...not to mess with you and your husband , and that it comes from on high. Make sure that all future communications are followed by a quall comm message acknowledging the content of any and all conversations. Make sure that when you talk to anyone from any department within your company, get a name and write down in a phone log. Good luck!

Take Photos of the truck your getting out of and show that it is their yard
    and returned in good condition.
May need them in court to repair your DAC report if they try to ruin you .

Her later posts indicate a fixing of sorts with a VP high enough and a belly big enough to shove authority around and enforce same. (An old saying from long ago...)

Usually drivers do not deal with onhigh or suits. But sometimes when trying to get a problem fixed a convestation backed by written understandings to all involved usually sweeps the BS away.

I tell you this. If it goes back again this year at any time with the same old problems for these two, they are so out of here.

Document everything from this day forward. Snap pictures in macro mode off the qualcomm and back it up to memory stick and then to another computer etc. (Printing out is even better.)

Also look up the recent new laws against corection and fear against truckers as of 2013ish. We had none of those laws availible in my time and sometimes problems escalated to actual threats where it's valid enough for work place violence and involvement of police etc. I usually despite my love of battle in those years would absolutely see it spoken the last time to me personally by a manager or boss in any form. They will find someone else to replacement.

We need to see if there is one dispatcher anywhere in that tower of trouble that is worth a ####. A married team is essentially the top dogs in this industry in a position with a good dispatcher and with a minimum of BS make huge amounts of revenue. But you cannot abuse these teams. Period. I was a H/W team for a year and Im sorry my wife did not have what it needed to keep going what with the changes in her medically and physically. She got to do things in her first year and confronted fears and so on. In short she lived a full life with me out there. That's plenty.

She also knows I shielded her from things that are pretty bad out there in some places. And that's plenty.

Ive said enough I think there is one final thought.

ANY trucker working for a company should absolutely keep mouth shut about family around the USA. the minute in my specific example, dispatch learned I spent two days with time off in Indianapolis, Brownsville I think. Not certain. Anyway. They learned i had family there. That was the last time I saw indy too. Just as well, that Pilot down there on the south side belt was getting pretty dirty along with the trash on the east end. Ive had good luck some bad times in that state. But it's not enough to stop me from paying a visit now and then. By and large as a people they are or walk pretty close to our own where we were raised ourselves long ago.

    This right here.

Always, always, always, get it in writing. Names, numbers, everything to a T.

I know you said you got an email, and that’s great. Just reinforcing the get it in writing lol.

When I resigned from mega, it took me ten days or so to get home, truck cleaned out, then truck to their terminal. I put up with it just to avoid this sort of dilemma.

    Good luck.
