@Ruthless you know how women are, they tell ya to be ready at 6pm for dinner and then it’s #### near 7:30 by the time they pick out their heels for the night. While I look like I just stepped outta a bull wagon with my work boots and greased blue jeans...

Much to everyone’s dismay... I have no photos to share from dinner. We’re home and I’ve cracked open my final hard cider for the night... Gumption Original.

Dad is taking me to lunch tomorrow we’re supposed to be seeing Deadpool but we will see what he’s up for.... and I have the house to myself till Thursday morning and then the misses and I are taking a 5 day vacation together so that should be good

So that leaves two days... to fix my two center tarps, finish with the asphalt cleaning, and “finish trimming those #### trees!!”

Tough life for a man that just wants to drink beer and put his feet up for a week or two...

I'll let you guys know on Thursday. I know it always smells funny when I'm going through there.

 

Use to be.... tripe was mentioned in the ingredients of potted meat. Tripe is garbage.... unused / unwanted parts or trimmings.

 

Yea they a little tight lol. Had to wait for transportation to get it out of my way.

 

Hmmm, I always thought it was the linings of the lungs. Used to haul honeycomb tripe from IBP years ago.

I swear, there ain't nuthin they don't sell on a butchered steer except maybe the moo.

Every been thru a packing house. They have big 'ol shoots they send the trimmins down. You go down stairs and they have big boxes marked spam and others you don't really want to know about.

First time I ever showed pigs I got first and fourth in the open show. You get judged live and on the rail. Went to see how I did on the rail and the pig that placed first they cut the dang front legs off...said it had arthritis. Now where you think them legs went. Coarse I was a nobody and the family name wasn't associated with any big operation so wasn't no way in heck I was getting a commission check.
