They don't park in truck stops. They have usually been around long enough to know all the other places to park and usually run in a "reginal" capacity.

What a waste to have a wheel base that long and only at 36 or 48 inch coffin box. Pfft

The long frame trucks in the west were built to the old bridge formula. You had to be 60’ overall to get max weight. The long trucks would give you the length you needed for max weight, when you were pinned to something like a 36’ end-dump or 42’ deck.fargonaz, rabbiporkchop, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this.

While I'm not that long, I'm longer than most. You get real good at planning your stops so you don't have to put your front end out for swift to rip off.
