I’ll be mobile shortly, maybe my little mudduck radio will be heard today lol. 28 was getting blasted out of the Carolinas this AM as usual.

Its Friday morning getting unloaded in Fogelsville Pa ( great weather compared to Texas heat) and skip is rolling again, on channel 28 getting alot of sandpile, trying to make contact with friends around Tampa, guess my little 29 lx just isnt going to make it happen, too many big stations out there, still entertaining to listen to.

Yeah I also heard some distant stations this AM (Fri) as I drove in my little car to work.

Saturday evening I started picking up skip transmissions. I didn't listen much that night but the next day I was going through Kansas City and was picking up a guy out of Columbus Ohio.

Definetally a Lot of noise the last several days. I usually have my radio on a Lot, but with all the noise lately ive had it off more than normal.

Hopefully the skip will still be rolling when I get my Antron up tomorrow. I really don't drive much any more but Ive got a couple of respectable radios sitting here gathering dust here at the crib

This week it seems to be heavy every other day. Today wasnt so hot. Tomorrow might be good.

Yep. Conditions are hot. I was sitting at the local truck stop where I park the truck for home time in south Louisiana and I was hearing a guy from some other state, I forgot which one. I have an SSB radio and forget to check. But I'm running a little amp not capable of doing SSB so I'm really just a "receive only" SSB radio right now.

I'm hearing the same guy on channel 6 no matter where I go. Either skip is hot or that guy's running enough power to cook a chicken.

Believe me @stacks so am I.

I talked to Northern Ireland from Kentucky on .395 lsb last summer, I was pretty stoked about that.
