add to this the influx of ex palmer petes at missoula pete........somehow i dont think they will be around much longer

i dont blame ActionView International, i wouldnt just want 34% of the 250k i loaned them, after waiting 6 months just to get started on the 48 easy monthly payments!!!!

It appears Palmer has plans to not only survive in 2009, but to flourish.:biggrin_25525:

I was talking to a friend tonight and her son got hired by them and he has been at home waiting for his truck and while waiting they were paying him $100 a day. This was a week ago, and he is still waiting.

I will be curious to see how it all turns out. It is still one company that my dh is looking at.

JP is a great place to be. Hubby was there for many yrs and only quit because I wanted to join him and run team. The only mistake we made was going to a company that at that time only trained on Autos, then spent 7 yrs with them only to get crippled up. If I had 20/20 I would have learned to shift and we would have driven for them instead.

I think Lonnie will pull it off as we know him well he was DH disp in the old days. Good people period !

example one night at 2am MST we had a call DH's aunt passed I called Palmer's 800 number the man answered and I was confused as all he said was hello. I aksed if this was Jim Palmer and he said yes it is. Ok I thought this dude is weird forgot what I said but He said no you have Jim I answer the phone at night. Told him my name and this man asked me how the kids were doing and by name and how the horse shows were going ! What CEO of any company is going to do that ? He shot DH in the bay one day with a water pistol. But the best when our kids were in a tragic car wreck Palmer and the Highway patrol went beyond the call of duty for our family ! Now before I was hurt due to a incompedent dock worker with the new company we were teaming for, our Daughter's fiancee (which according to law they were married) was killed, Our oldest daughter had a reaction to a prescrition drug which she was on life support for 3 days, our youngest daughter was in a horse accident, my grandmother died and not once did this company do anything to help other than to relay the info. In help I am refferring to getting us home and to this day they still do not help get a driver home in a ER

So I am rooting for Palmer to succeed !!!!! They are one of the best if not the best ! They truly do care about their drivers and the families

it aint looking good for palmer, getting rid of alot of trucks and trailers laying people off, cutting pay, changing their pay system, once they emerged from bankruptcy and had to start paying bills it really hit them.
