One reason people have a hard time adjusting to elogs is the time they choose to run. Everyone leaves the truck stop at the crack of dawn and everyone tries to park by the time the sun sets. That's why it's a cluster to run places sometimes.

Bank_Lbr, Cattleman84 and Oldironfan Thank this.

You must live in a place where cost of living is high or you have a lot of obligations.....thats far from the worst in the industry. You may need to run more territory.

Pay me enough to like elog would be a lot.
Pay me to run doing what I love to the areas I was told I will run. That will be much less.

If they are not running you where you want find a new company. It is a drivers market.

    bryan21384 Thanks this.

Having 'anxiety' lands you a great dog that wears a special vest.... and you can take 'em anywhere!... Lol. That's pretty special too!

Old Iron - I'm hourly. Subcontracted to Nestlé Waters North America. I do triangle runs, in State - average 350 miles/day, 9-12 hr days run dependant. Home every night. 5 day week with the option of a 6th which is straight OT at that point.... I'll personally never do mileage pay again. I'll also never live in the back of my ride for weeks or months at a time... isn't a game I'm willing to play. I got other #### I'd rather be doing. I'm not getting rich, per se, but I'm #### good with money & from my pittance can make a decent bank roll.

I refused to use me elog and just kept using paper until I got a job where I don’t have to log.

The thing was so glitchy I refused to use it.
