Thinking about walking away.

Running logging truck is paying into the $30/hr range in some places. Getting hard to find guys who know how to drive off of dry pavement. Home every night too in most cases.

 

I've used e-logs in some form or another since 2012 and have always done well in regards to miles and pay. I don't miss the days of doing paper log books and getting 10 hours of sleep a week.

 

I know of guys paying 12-15/hr to drive log trucks here in western ME.... I’d do it in a heart beat if the pay was better

 

For many people, it is easier said than done.

so you’re wanting to walk away from a career because of...that? i don’t know you from adam but come on man. we all know that nothing worth having is easy to get. if it’s a different/better job you want - make it happen. crying to other drivers is not the answer.

 

You can make same bring home pay at home
