Recent conversation with my wife. Keep in mind that I bought her a new phone for her birthday, and I’m now using her old phone.

Me: “This phone is acting crazy. When I type ‘sch’ it gives me Schones and Schaffer as suggested words, instead of the obvious ‘school’ “.

Her: “That’s weird. My phone doesn’t do that.”

Me: “Uhhh, this IS your phone, honey.”

Her: “Nope. All your stuff is in it. It’s your phone now.”

Me: “Well if that’s the rule, I’m gonna head up to OKC to the Kenworth dealer and put all my stuff in a brand new shiny W9.”

    Her: “Ugh.”

Hauled a load for a customer we don’t usually haul for. It just serves as a reminder of how spoiled we are to have our regular customer. Or maybe I’m just used to the way they do things, and I’m old and stubborn.

Anyway, notice the whole location full of stuff, and then the little tiny corner on the left of the pic for the constant flow of sand trucks to pull in, back around the corner, unload, and then make a hard left to get back out.

Also notice the Pete that couldn’t make the left so he’s having to sit until the condo on his left gets empty and moves. This also keeps any other trucks from being able to come in and unload until both trucks are gone.

What you can’t see is all the unused space on the back side of the location where some of this stuff could have been sitting, allowing more room for trucks. You need enough room so trucks can constantly come and go to be efficient, otherwise you get behind and risk running out of sand.

But what do I know? I’m just a stubborn old truck driver.
